HINA is a youth-focused nonprofit born from the desire to address Nepal’s biggest challenges — youth unemployment, migration, and the digital skills gap. We give young people the tools to build their future at home — and it’s already working: HINA has helped launch 6 companies and create 11 jobs for young people.
Our approach
Experiential learning, entrepreneurial thinking, and digital literacy — not classroom theory.
Our mission
Sparking transformation one young leader at a time — from within Nepal’s own communities.
Who we serve
Marginalized youth from the Kathmandu Valley and beyond, aged 18–29.
How we work
We don’t just teach — we inspire, guide, and walk alongside every scholar.
WHAT WE DO
Three pillars of empowerment
Everything at HINA is built around three core areas that together create lasting change in young people’s lives.
Empowerment Through Education
Entrepreneurship, leadership, and critical thinking for sustainable futures.
Social innovation & entrepreneurship
Building impactful social enterprises that uplift communities.
Technology & digital literacy
Essential digital skills to thrive in today’s economy.
